The end product
We accompanied together from the initial concept to the finished product. In an intensive design process, we looked for the best ways to successfully realize the idea in the form of an app. This stage of the project resulted in a meaningful design prototype that combines the best practices of social media apps with a novel aesthetic.
The Figma prototype was at the center of the development process. The screens were realized with precision and high quality. In addition to the visual appearance, particular attention was paid to ensuring high security standards and fast loading times.
together can now be downloaded from the App Store and the Google Play Store. The app places great value on community. Users do not simply share content, but work together to show different perspectives on shared experiences. This unique feature was at the heart of the development and design process.

Reactions
POST FIRST, THEN REACT
An intuitive and appealingly animated emoji bar allows users to react to content. The bar can be folded in and out so as not to take away the necessary space from users’ images. “together” offers its users two feeds that are separated by a tab switcher. The home feed shows new posts from pages that the user has subscribed to. The discovery feed recommends pages based on interests and followed users.

The users of together work together, making the platform a unique digital experience. The collaborative creation of content is not only a new concept for a social media app, but also has a great fun factor for users.
Profile
NO NUMBERS – ONLY PEOPLE
Compared to other social media platforms, together does not display the number of followers. The app wants to create a digital space that is not based on perfection, but on reality. Instead of just showing the highlights of daily life, the app wants to encourage its users to discover the beauty and uniqueness in the everyday. We have taken this idea into account in the simple design, which focuses on the users’ pictures and videos.
