The basic idea
onesome was launched by the Munich-based start-up Seneration. Their vision: to make coaching a reality for everyone. The motivation of the three founders came primarily from their professional activities in the field of personal development as well as their experience of being coached themselves.

Concept
The idea and motivation to realize onesome arose quickly, but the path from the basic idea to the finished product was a long one. The first step for Seneration was to examine the challenges faced by potential customers. They asked themselves what problems they needed to address and solve with onesome in order to be attractive and profitable for their target group. The three founders identified the following in particular:
“onesome has to be digital. We were aware that the vision of “coaching for all” could not be realized with an analogue concept. One of the biggest cost drivers is the coach factor – we were able to eliminate this with the digital format.”

Implementation
Among the numerous digital paths the start-up could have taken, Anouk, Swantje and Nadine ultimately opted for a web app: coaching has a wide range of processes, the preparation and presentation of which proved to be extremely useful and easy to understand in the form of a web app. The application medium makes onesome independent of time and place and ensures that it can be easily integrated into everyday life or company structures.

Cooperation
To ensure the best possible implementation of the onesome web app, Seneration decided to commission a software agency with the design and development of onesome.

The result
In close cooperation between merakee and Seneration, the basic idea of onesome – namely to coach companies holistically – was finally realized in the form of a web app. Two decisive weaknesses of analog coaching were compensated for: Firstly, the exclusion of the coach component, which ensures the minimization of pressure and influence. Secondly, it has become possible to prepare and make available a variety of topics for countless users at low cost.

In the course of onesome, users answer a wide variety of questions. By collecting data, the app is able to adapt to the answers given. In this way, a product makes individual development possible for many people.
